After completing courses for a ThM at Jerusalem University College and Shiloh University, I founded One Again Learning Tools to unite members of the Body of Messiah, both Jew and Gentile, through study materials on the Jewish context of Christianity. Unity occurs when the elements of language, culture, and geographical settings merge to form a context—a backdrop—to Scripture.
From these studies, a ministry vision was developed to define the purpose and identity of One Again Learning Tools (OALT). Simply put, OALT's vision is to equip the Body of Messiah to become one again by rediscovering the historical backdrop behind the biblical text. Its position is in support of Israel, the Land, and its people as God's inheritance and light to the nations of the earth. OALT focuses on teaching, giving time and resources to the church, and partnering with ministries in Israel with the same vision.
Key Scriptures that ground this ministry include Acts 4:32a and Jeremiah 32:39a, both of which speak to the desired unity in heart and mind of God's people.
"And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul" (Acts 4:32a, NASB95).
"And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me always" (Jer. 32:39a, NASB95).
Stepping onto the biblical stage of the land of Israel and allowing oneself to drift back through time to the language and culture of the Word of God brings a refreshing perspective. Challenging phrases and idiomatic narratives from first-century Jewish communities are unraveled and revealed. The Bible is clear, cohesive, and consistent!
Unity is achieved through context. Jew and Gentile are one again in Messiah, Jesus (Yeshua). As members of the same olive tree, our mission is to bring the Truth.
